Clinics And Services
The practice offers antenatal and postnatal care. Please ask our receptionists for timings.
The doctors and health visitor run baby clinics for child health surveillance and immunising your children and allow an opportunity to discuss other problems.
Health Promotion Clinic
Visit our health review and assessment room, where you are able to submit forms such as asthma, smoking and breathlessness reviews.
Our health care assistants are also available by appointment for advice on smoking, weight control and help towards achieving a healthy lifestyle.
Cervical Smear And Chlamydia Screening
Cancer of the cervix can be prevented and all female patients between the ages of 25 and 64 are advised to have regular smear tests with our practice nurses. We also perform screening for chlamydia for patients who are sexually active.
Patients wishing to be referred to our counsellors should consult with the doctor in the first instance. Patients should be aware that they may have to commit themselves to weekly counselling sessions at the surgery during working hours.
Travel Immunisations And Vaccinations
Please make an appointment to see our nurses at least eight weeks in advance of your holiday to ensure adequate cover. A charge will be made for certain immunisations and vaccinations which are not covered by the NHS.
We are an appointed yellow fever vaccination centre.
Flu And Pneumonia Vaccination
An influenza vaccination is particularly recommended for patients over 65 and those with heart, lung or kidney disease, diabetes, and residents of nursing homes.
Pneumonia vaccinations are available all year for the same category of patients. One pneumonia vaccination will provide lifetime cover.
Other In-House Services
The practice has a physiotherapist at our Mitcham Practice. Referral is via a doctor only.
